Explore the majestic Mississippi, one of the five top recognized attractions in the world, aboard the Channel Cat Water Taxi! Experience the power and mystique of the river that captivated Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn as it sweeps around the great riverbend and flows east to west for one of only a few times over its length. Get a taste of the area once known as the Rock River Rapids, considered the most dangerous section of the upper Mississippi. Today, with the help of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the river has been dredged and a channel created to slow the flow of water. So, sit back and enjoy your journey on the Channel Cat.
